U18 Rugby 7s Champions

Congratulations to ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ's U18 Rugby Sevens side who have won the 2019 Rosslyn Park Sevens Vase.
In their group games, all matches were won (0-22 against Pocklington, 43-0 against King's ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ Bruton, 26-10 vs Wisbech and 36-17 vs Worksop).
¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ then went through to the group winners play-off against Ysgol Y Preseli, which they also won (38-5). This meant that the team were through to day 2 and the quarter-final pools. Here they faced Cathedral ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ, Llandaff and won by a massive margin of 82-0. They then played Norwich ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ and won 41-7.
The semi-final saw them pitted against SEEVIC College (¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ won 32-12) and Oakham (¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ won 26-21). With just a few hours in between, the boys were into the Vase Final against another Midlands side, Rugby ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ. There was an astonishing amount of energy from the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ boys, always pushing ahead whether in defence or attack. The final ended 26-5 in ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ's favour and the team were crowned 2019 Rosslyn Park Sevens U18 Vase winners. A fantastic achievement for the boys and their coaches.

Throughout the term, the boys have conducted themselves and trained exceptionally well and they now have a tangible reward for all their hard work."
